RTK 2.0 has already ended and no RTK 3.0 has been approved yet.
The Workforce Recalibration Programme (Program Rekalibrasi Tenaga Kerja, RTK) was designed to legalize undocumented foreign workers (PATI) by regularizing them as legally employed foreign workers under eligible employers.
RTK 2.0 was launched to replace the first RTK and ran roughly from 27 Jan 2023 to end-2023, with verification continuing into early 2024.
The Home Ministry has confirmed that there is no decision yet to implement a RTK 3.0 or extension at this time, and the public should refer to official Immigration Department updates for accurate status.
The Government of Malaysia had launched Recalibration Program encompassing two main components:
1. Recalibration Program (Return to home country) : Implemented from 16 Nov 2020 to 30th June 2022. Appointment with immigration for payment of fine Click Here![]()
2. Recalibration Program (Rehiring) : Registration – from 16 Nov 2020 to 31 Dec 2021 for illegal immigrants who are in the country.

■ Eligible Sectors: Manufacturing; Construction; Services; Plantation; Agriculture; Mining and Quarrying

The programme involves a deposit of RM500 per employee, Recalibration fees of RM1,500 per employee, as well as other fees including:
