Regarding re-issuance of OCI Cards after completing 20 years of age

In order to avoid inconvenience to OCI cardholders keeping in view the difficulties being faced on account of Covid-19 pandemic, the Government of India has decided to further grant extension of time till 31^st December, 2022 to all eligible foreign nationals to get their OCI cards re-issued after completing 20 years of age.

2. Please note that subject to extant guidelines regarding entry of OCI cardholders to India, such eligible OCI cardholders will be allowed to travel to India on the strength of their existing OCI cards bearing old passport number subject to the condition that the OCI cardholder will have to travel along with a new passport.
