It has been brought to our notice that there are several cases of scam calls being received from the Emergency Number of the High Commission of India (+6-0102550612) by general public, claiming to be from the officials of the High Commission of India, soliciting money in the name of immigration issues. It is simply a case of spoofing the emergency number of the High Commission of India by unscrupulous elements.

2. The High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur does never ask for money over phone on any issues. Please beware of such scammers and never disclose any of your personal and financial information to anybody who claims to be an official of the High Commission of India on phone. Please also disseminate this information among other fellow Indian nationals.
